Driver CPC Training Courses

September 2009 saw the launch of Driver CPC for the LGV sector - We are pleased to announce that we are now approved to deliver to both the LGV and PCV sector. You can choose from the following Driver CPC Modules:


Customer Service PCV Incorporating the School Run (PCV Only)
Course includes the following subjects:-
- How to reduce stress and avoid Road rage

Customer Care (LGV Only)
Course includes the following subjects:-
- Secure loads.
- Risk assessment
- Manual handling
- Lone working
- Safe working practices within road transport

- Transportation of Hazardous chemicals
- Mobile phone/smoking/seatbelt legislation
- Legislation/compliance Drawbars/coupling techniques

Know Your Vehicle (PCV Only)
- Vehicle Braking/transmission systems, Vehicle components, Fuel Optimisation, Vehicle Sympathy
- Duty of Care LGV and PCV
- Understanding Your Duty of Care
- Medical disclosure requirements
- Disability/ Diversity discrimination
- First Aid Training - (trainees receive a certificate that can be used within the workplace as an appointed person course)

Endorsements/ Legal Framework
Each 7 hour module is competitively priced at £70.25 per driver /per module. This includes vat, DSA Upload fee, certification and a light lunch /refreshments. Whether you are an employer looking for quality training for your employees or an individual professional driver we can cater for you. Discounts apply on block bookings, rates negotiable depending on numbers.
Once the mandatory 35 hours of training have been completed you will be issued with a DQC card. This will be sent to the address on your driving licence it forms part of your licence and must be carried at all times when driving professionally.
